60s

My first collaboration - with the talented T. JiaJia <3

I have been keeping my excitement in, waiting to share this series of photos! Everything has its first and here's one for the road - I finally had the opportunity to style for one of my friend's 60s themed shoot. It was supposed to be a chill-out just-for-fun submission for some sort of a contest but regardless, I'm in love with the end product.

Another one of my favourite shots in my blue beret hahah

Working together on this first "collaboration" was quite a random event. Jia Jia and I were actually secondary school friends who played ping pong together and caught up right here in Melbourne due to coincidence. She's one of the most patient people I've ever met, plus her stunning photography is something I've admired, so I guess it's only natural this worked out awesome.

It's an odd, yet nice kind of funny to see models put on random pieces from your wardrobe and rock it like how it's supposed to look. I have a tonne of clothing I don't always wear because it's way too hot in Singapore yet I'm obsessed with all the nautical, school-girlish and knitted stuff. There were some different looks Jia Jia helped put together for the girls too, which came off really sweet. I wasn't quite the pro so it was great she helped out.

In any case the bubbly school-girl heroine thing was quite a feast for the eyes. Check out some of the polaroids Jia Jia took <3

Also if you're interested, check out the rest of the photos from this 60s girly pop heroine series via Fashioning or on PhotoVogue itself.

Last but not least, you'll have to check out more of Jia Jia's awesome work - click here or through:

Life is so full of surprises; I never thought I would pull this off! Thank you again Jia Jia <3

On a sidenote, I will probably be heading back to Melbourne for Katy Perry's tour (I am an ultimate fan girl)!!! I cannot wait to be back here and hopefully do more of this again! Good times (;

Glitterati

Sequin Hi-Tops by Converse (Images via Google and styled by yours truly)

I seem to be extremely productive just before sleep beckons, as always. So I caught sight of this particular glitter sweater and decided to have it paired up with more shiny stuff and the best contender to put on this outfit - Miss Chloe Norgaard. I've been quite a fan of her delectable hair I just wished I was blonde (not literally) so I can smack on any tubs of hair colour any time I want. That aside, I've had the biggest weak spot for all things shiny so there goes.

Been shopping lesser as of late because I'm broke and I've got waaaay too many clothes. But it's not going to stop me of dreaming up of an outfit I pictured in my mind so I've decided to turn to photoshop and some "styling". I guess pairing up items and making them "work" is my past time... am not the real professional so thus, this space for all my random things I like (to do).

Anyway I thought this would be a great track, and to probably build up the whole look hahah. Alright I kid, here goes, Get Free by Major Lazer:

Speaking of which, it's about the end of summer and I'm just left with about another week before Melbourne comes to an end. Not exactly having the time of my life mailing out my resume excessively but anything goes.

Reminders, reminders. Let's hope no one gets lost in the midst of all this chaos.

Have a good night!
